Couples have been getting married at Nkuthu Gardens for over 12 years and each wedding remains unique. At Nkuthu Gardens we offer a very hands on approach. Our in house function’s coordinator is available to ensure that every last detail is taken care of. We offer you a full wedding planning service where we will help you to source photographers, florists, DJ’s and so much more. We can give you advice on everything from your colour scheme to flowers to centrepieces. Unique menus can be arranged for your taste, and we will do our utmost to ensure that your wedding guests enjoy the day as much as you do.

The wedding ceremony is held under a canopied gazebo in the centre of the Nkuthu River. We offer a beautiful garden chapel set ornately in a bamboo forest. This is a fully covered area and ensures that your guests are protected from the elements. This venue has an ambience of its own, enticing you in. It can be fully draped to create an Arabian Nights look for your wedding or alternatively, can be left with just the standard draping to create an elegant yet natural look for your wedding. The stone bench seating can comfortably seat 110 people. Additional seating can be provided on request. This venue can be hired on its own or in conjunction with the reception venue. The price of the chapel includes standard valance draping as well as cushions for seating on the stone benches.

The thatched Boma is the venue for your reception and can seat up to 180 people comfortably. It is draped to give a magical blend between ethnic and elegant. The Boma can be decorated further or left as is with only standard draping provided. We have a variety of menus to choose from. The Boma can be hired on its own or in conjunction with the wedding chapel. The price of the Boma includes standard draping.

Nkuthu Gardens is located on 7 acres of pristine gardens and natural forest, and this makes for magical photographs. Your guests can enjoy drinks and canapés while your photographer captures the joy of your unique day.
